Every regulated commercial fridge in Singapore carries an NEA energy label — one to five ticks. More ticks means less electricity for the same cold. The numbers below are not marketing: they come from the NEA registered goods database, which publishes tested annual consumption for every registered model.

A fridge runs 24 hours a day, every day, for eight to twelve years. A few hundred dollars a year of difference in running cost compounds into thousands over the machine's life — often more than the price gap between a low-tick and a high-tick unit. That is also why the Energy Efficiency Grant only supports efficient models: the grant and the power bill point the same way.
